While many love the atmosphere, some diners feel it can get a bit crowded during peak hours, particularly on Friday evenings. Limited seating may pose a challenge for larger groups, especially if arriving without a reservation. A few patrons wish for more variety in vegetarian options, as the menu primarily focuses on fish and meat dishes. The takeaway service sometimes experiences a slight delay during rush hours, which can detract from the overall experience. Despite the casual vibe, some have noted they would appreciate a more refined dining option on busier evenings.
Had a small cod, chips with Irish curry and it was absolutely lovely. First chippy I have seen that has 3 options for curry sauce. If you want something in batter they probably do it too. Great Chippy
More than your average chipshop. The menu is crazy. From chips to rag puddings refreshments to burgers, fish and many other options. Local pie makers Pimletts supply here. Car parking outside. Its on a shopping precinct. Wheelchair access. Cash and card payments. Great food
The food is just amazing. All freshly cooked to order, and you're spoilt for choice in regards to the menu they have. It's definitely the best chippy around by far... The service is always quick and wirh a friendly Abram smile, and the atmosphere is a pleasant and welcoming one 🥰
One of the best chippies in existence. So much choice and plenty of offers. One of the only English chippies to offer Haggis on the menu! Even have battered chips! Very highly recommended. I actually go out of my way to get food from here because it's worth the drive. Please open a chip shop in Leigh soon 😉
Staff are very welcoming and lovely to talk to. Quick service and food is very nice. Will go again
